I purchased this Sony SZ110B for all of it's features including the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card. However, I can not get the 5ghz wireless a to connect to a wireless router. I have gone into the wireless switching utility and enabled 5 ghz and also updated the intel drivers.

I have borrowed my brothers D-link AG660 card and installed both the card and drivers on the SZ and the SZ picks up both my brother's a router and my a router at home. So its safe to say that the issue lies with the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card.

If someone has managed to get their SZ to talk to an A 5ghz router, then could someone share some settings, opinions, suggestions?

Sony switched out the mini pci Intel card but did not test it with a wireless a connection like I asked before they declared the problem "fixed" and sent the notebook back to me "not fixed".
If yours is working, What driver version is it?, Is it Sony's driver or Intels?, What settings do you have in Device manager?, Adapter settings?, etc.
    Thanks for any help.

My Sz will find my Intel Pro/Wireless 5000 but won't connect. However, it won't find my brother's Di-754 wirless a router. The D-Link cardbus adapter connects to both within a minute.
