A few weeks ago I looking to buy a new battery for my sz220 because my current one was shot. Then one day the battery light next to the power light started constantly flashing, I assumed the old battery had seen the end.

I then purchased a 8800mah super battery from ebay and installed it and I still have the same flashing light. I read some other threads with similar problems but those solutions aren't working.

I've tried disconnecting motherboard battery with the ac disconnected and the main battery disconnected, with no change.

I've installed new bios, no luck.

I've also disabled isb utility in msconfig with no change.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance, Rob.
