Hi, I have a VGN-SZ340FP, I decided to format it, with a win xp cd, I deleted the recovery partition, and then I formatted the entire hdd (120GB), then win xp installed without a problem, but then when the system rebooted to start for first time windows it just rebooted again, I cant start windows, I neither cant see the boot screen of windows it just reboots again and again, I dont know if its a problem because I deleted all partitions, but it just reboots and reboots, do I need de recovery cds? I will try to install win vista but I dont have it, just wait a few days, what can I do? Thanks!

    1. Try booting in safe mode.
    2. Try booting in recovery console (use the XP CD before you turn it on) then Repair your installation.

Post back with your findings. I don't suppose you made a recovery DVD then?
