    Hi!
I have a VGN-SZ38GP Sony VAIO, once I tried to reinstall Windows XP, but didn't see that the DVD was scratched from another laptop (now it has really bad round scratch). Tried to apply some cleaners, also some googled some tricks to make the DVD work, but no luck, I have access to 90% files, but sadly missing files are really needed (VAIO Zone, Protector Suite, TPM and other), I know that they can be downloaded, but I would like to have all of those apps, but I don't know which of them where on (screensavers can't be downlaoded).
So I want to know if there is a way to get a new recovery disc from Sony (this is an Asia model, I actually live in Europe)?
Or maybe there is a way to fix the DVD? (Scratch is about 1/100 centimeter deep, I was able to get about 1% more data with cleaning)
