    Hi,

Recently I've got the following fault of video card in my VGN-SZ430N.
    2.jpg
It crashes to BSOD during boot. At the same time it works when switched to stamina mode withou any problems or artefacts.

    What can this be?

That's a dying GPU for sure mate! No point getting a reball because replacement motherboards are under $70.

My SZ had exactly the same problem with it's 8400m GS a few months back. Due to the motherboards being dirt cheap on ebay, I decided to buy another one because it's cheaper than a reball. You should do the same if you plan on fixing it.
