VGN-TX850P overheating, thinking in opening it to clean it.

My VGN-TX850P has been recently overheating. For months the laptop was OK and now it's becoming too hot. When I go to the task manager I do not see any process that is taking more than 5% of CPU and it is still overheating. When I put it next to the window (where it's cold) it cools down (obviously) and the fan stops.

I remember my previous Toshiba used to get very hot to the point that it would shut itself down. I sent it to Toshiba Care and they said the fan was clogged. They cleaned it and it helped.

I wonder if it's the same problem. Has anyone tried opening their Vaio TX? I'd be curious to know if I should watch out for something.

    Thanks.
