This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi everybody,

    Sony posted Bios update on their website for my laptop.
    The description says:
    "This utility updates the BIOS to version R0025N3 to resolve an issue where the Real Time Clock (RTC) stops running and provides compatibility with the Microsoft® Windows Vista® operating system."
    My question is: should I be concern if I run XP?

    They also posted another one which doesn't mention Vista. Should I just install this one?
