    VGN-TZ190N disassembly instructions

    I need disassembly instructions to replace the SSD in my bosses VGN-TZ190N. Can anyone help? I can't find anything searching the net. Any help much appreciated.

    I got part of the way into the disassembly process of my new TZ290, only to discover that the ribbon cable between keyboard and bottom unit appears to be securely fastened on both ends. Someone here replied that it "pops out" from the base unit, but mine appeared to be quite securely fastened and I was scared to exert any pressure, as delicate as the parts seem. Pulling straight up didn't appear to work, and I didn't want to shove anything underneath in an attempt to pry the connector off. Good way to make an instant brick...

    If anyone else has firsthand knowledge of the disassembly of the TZ290, I'm all ears...

    Take a look at attached cable photo.
    Rectangle area with connector connects to the motherboard as simply pushing down. You only need to hold both side of rectangle plate and pull up.
