I recently cracked my screen on my TZ2000. I am looking for a replacement, but they don't have one for my specific model. Is there any difference in the screens between the TZ models? Are there any models that have the same screen.

Any assistance would be amazing. You all have answered so many questions without me even having to post, it's insane. I thank you all in advance for your help.

On a side note, anyone planning on getting a TZ, be sure to get a very protective case for their computer. It is VERY fragile.

because toshiba makes the screen. there are really only a few companies that make lcds. toshiba is one of them.

so if you google search on the toshiba model number, you can find yourself an exact replacement.

The manufacturer is Toshiba-Matsu****a and the part number is LTD111EWAX.

I had foolishly transported my TZ with no protection in my backpack to school and the display has not cracked, but instead there is a small dark spot on the upper corner of the screen, probably from pressure to the screen from a textbook. :(

Thank you all. I'm ordering my the laptop now and getting a hard shelled case with it. I'll update you when I finish replacing the screen.
