This is a VPC-Z? If yes... depends what you're doing... if doing something CPU intensive... it's understandable. If that's idle temps... run! it's gunna explode! <-- just kidding.

In any case, i've seen 100C after a 2 hour gaming session on Bad Company 2 on my Z... however, if you want, you can cap the max processor state to be 99% (which will stop turboboost) and i now see temps at 93C after gaming.

I think the OP's talking about the VGN-Z.

If the CPU is hitting 95'C, can I ask what process / software is causing such temperatures? For the CPU, that is quite high. Though if it is the nVidia GPU, then it's more understandable.

A guide. 105'C and over will result in an overheating; the machine will force itself off regardless of what you are doing, once that temperature is reached.
In the 90s. It is high, and in the run long your components will be suffering quite a bit of wear. Anything lower, it's tolerable and less demanding on the components.

Hi guys thanks for the help.
Yes mine is VGN-Z so no turbo-boost
Im having the P8600 CPU which runs at clock speed 2.8GhZ if i remembered correctly.

its the CPU temp reaches 95+ and Im just running league of legends so i have no idea why it happens?

last time i was trying to figure a way to tear the comp down and see if theres dust inside the vents or the fans but I find no way to do that.

    thanks.

    thanks :)
