Hi. I have my vaio vgn sz280p for 2 or so months now, i already did a full system restore, but after a while it still gives me the error when i try to close the lid (set to hibernate) or hibernate manually. i keep getting an error "invalid system resources to complete api. i mean i am not running any programs for it to run out of resources, and i have 2GB RAM. i can do the same with my ibm T42 and have no errors, but with the vaio it's driving me nuts. after giving the error the hibernate button is dimmed and no longer works until i turn off or restart.

    any suggestions?

    thanks

    francis

Do a search at the microsoft website, there was a problem with some computers that had 2GB of ram hibernating. Otherwise you can restart your computer and it should be fine. That has only happened to me once.
