    VGPUPR1 Docking station compatible with SR models?

    Hey Guys.

    i have the chance to get a VGPUPR1 docking station ( This is the USB station). I believe they are universal stations and should work with all brand machine, i have a Vaio SR 2XX and just wanted to know if anyone had tried to use this with an SR machine, ive asked my local sony and they didnt know.. doh.. anyone help? reason i ask is i can get one for free via a rebate offer, they are not giving away the SR specific dock, just the USB one..

    I asked sony in NZ and they didnt know, so i figured id ask here before ordering, they said it would work on te Fw, AW, CS but they were not sure about the SR.. Id rather the proper dock, but i can get the USB free as a promotional offer, so wouldnt turn it down if it works :)

    Well, if it's completely free just get it?

    Note that with a USB dock you still need to plug in power as well. Not really a big deal but useful to note.

    Anyone else tried this at all? or perhaps any other USB docking stations, like the Tobiba DynaDock etc.. Thanks
