Heyo all, I honestly dunno if y'all will be able to help me with my current issue, some other posts suggested it might be a design limitation.

Basically I have a brand spankin new Vaio that originally came with a ridiculously bulky Vista installation that gave me a fatal error after the first game I installed on it. Choosing to pre-empt any future errors I choose to wipe the hard drive and install XP on the system instead. Did so, and in the process I installed 'all' the recommended drivers that sony put up for XP but now I'm having tons of issues with all the Sony Centric software.

The primary error is a Microsoft Visual C++ RUnetime Library - Runtime Error

This error pops up every time I try and run VAIO Central or POwer Management

I've tried installing several version of Power Management pre-2.0 due to the Vista requirements of those later versions. And I did finally manage to get Central working with a fresh install, but it gave me a System32 error when I tried to open up the Power Management option. And now that I've reboot its giving me the same Runtime error that both programs have been giving me all night.
