It is successful but not complete. I thought I would share where I got the drivers and how I did in case another FE880E owner needs the info.

Video: Mobile IntelĀ® 945 Express Graphics Driver v14.32.4.4926

Network: Intel Pro/100 VE Network Connection

    Wireless Network: IntelĀ® PRO_Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

Above are all current drivers. Then I installed the rest from FE4_Drivers and FE3_Drivers that many posters mentioned. I don't have the URL now.

FE4_Drivers: I installed from this to fix the yellow ? in the Device Manager
SM Bus Controller => \chipset\XP folder
Mass Storage Controller => \Memory_Card folder
HDAUDIO SoftV92 Data Fax Modem ==> \Modem folder

    FE3_Drivers\
    Audio
    1) install UAA High Definition Audio Class driver first
    2) then install audio driver.

It seems that I got webcam working without installing any extra drivers. I don't know if there are features missing without installing something else, but I can capture still image from it.

I've not explored the function keys issue. Please post if you see anything else that I need to install so we have a complete list for FE880E users.

I love the speed I gained going XP.

Thanks to everyone who posted before for this task to be easier.

I have encountered 2 problems on my build so far:
    1) random reboot itself after being idle for a while (maybe ~ 15 to half an hour). It does not do that if I continuously work on it.
    2) I can't set my external monitor as the primary monitor. If I do that, it just shuts the external monitor off.
