I own a VIAO Z VGN-Z90NS (bought in Japan), did a fresh install with vista retail and have also changed the OS to Windows 7. Since I am not able to download drivers from Japanese VIAO Homepage I downloaded the drivers from US.

When I watch any kind of video i.e. flash video, video of Youtube etc. I experience some "lags" with the videos. The videos clips or flash don't run smoothly. I wonder if it's connected to the problem that I didn't use Japanese drivers?

Has anybody experienced this? How did you solve that problem??

Would be appreciated if someone can help me out here :(

Did that happen under STAMINA mode or SPEED mode?

    Both modes.. :(
First I thought I had a virus or something so i switched from Vista x64 to Windows 7 RC
right now I am using Windows 7 RC 7229 x86 bit...
I guess it's related to the driver issue, although the hardware from US and Japan should be the same...

The OEM OS was Vista Business x86 though

Stupid question, but thought I'd ask: you have the latest flash version?
Also, you've disabled acceleration through the right click menu?
