    Hi,

I have a VPC-Z1 and want to get 2 monitors to "extend" the display.
I would just use these 2 monitors in a dual extended display and would turn off the Zs LCD

Anyway, I wanted to know if I can plug one display into the HDMI and another in the VGA to run them at the same time- is this possible.

Please let me know ASAP, I'm looking to buy them now.

    Thanks!

On Z2 it is possible, so it's likely possible on the Z1 I'll try it tomorrow cuz it's late overhere.

Should be possible... Don't have a HDMI display so can't try it out, but I can't see why this wouldn't be possible...

It's not possible, it's not going to work. It's been covered on this forum at length several times. Only 1 external display can be active on the Z1 at a time. End of story.

You could do it using a USB->VGA adapter. I think some of these can even do FHD resolution if you drop down to 16 bit color.

^Yes, displaylink is always an option.
