Got a weird problem with my Z11 and not sure if this is a driver or hardware issue.

When on AC power and using my laptop it randomly switches from speed to stamina and I get a lot of black and white random lines across the screen before it reboot's itself.

I have checked the display drivers, event logs and cannot see anything wrong.

I don't play games or do anything graphically intensive and my laptop has no over heating issues either.

    Any idea's?

When the 3-way-switch is set to "Auto", the Z is going into speed mode when pluggin the cable in and leaving when unplugged.
This might be a problem with the jack, so its "replugged" every second by moving it or even typing. This might cause problems since the profile is changing each time.

Since I don't have a Z on my own til now this is just a guess.
You can try it with the power switch set to "speed" or "stamina".

I have stuck it into speed mode only and it seems to be better, will maybe get around to rebuilding my o/s at some point to see if that works.

    It is a strange issue.

try running it at speed mode and reinstall 188.80 driver from nvidia
