    Hi

I have a Sony Vaio VPCCW16FG running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with its current OEM certified driver for the NVIDIA GT230M card. I have tried downloading the current certified driver update to 285.62 but with no progress.

I have also tried downloading and running a modified .inf file taken from laptoptovideo.com for the 285.62 and it downloads fine, but when the computer restarts, it loads up to the desktop and within a few seconds, the Blue Screen of Death pops up and tells me My driver isn't working/bios caching and shadowing needs to be disabled.

Is there anyway for this update to be stable on my computer? I have recently invested on the BF3 title and everything meets the requirements.. minus the driver update. Please help!!

i'm not sure if you can update to 285.62 since i dont have a cw. If you want the blue screens to stop you can boot into safe mode (f8 during startup) and uninstall the current drivers and reinstall the sony drivers which you can find on their support website.

Get the modded INF from the guide in my signature.
