    Hi! I have VPCEB1Z1R/B (Core i5 M430/15.5"/1920x1080/4gb/320Gb/Blu-Ray/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/Win 7 HP). I have following problems:
    1. Notebook periodically(1-10/day) dead freezing, then ext. USB-HDD or flash disk is connected to one of the 3 usb-port on the right side (USB hdd 100% working on another computer). One SATA-USB port on the left side working normally. I am obliged to switch off power button.
    2. Black frame around picture and falling out sound on ext. monitor ( SONY fhd TV). TV connected via HDMI port.
Maybe anybody have the same problems on VAIO EB? How I can fix these problems.

I would try clean installing Win7, as for the second problem, you need to fix the resolution on the tv via display properties
