    Hello,

I just got this notebook about 60 days ago. The first thing I did was wipe and put a clean OS (Win7 Pro 64bit) on it. I loaded all the hardware drivers from Sony's site. But a few things still didn't work right.

In desperation I loaded the Sony Notebook Utilities but they still have not solved the following issues:

    1) The FN keys keys don't work at all.
    2) I can't seem to find a setting that will turn off the trackpad when a mouse is connected. (My Inspiron 9300 had this setting).
    3) I can't find where to control the keyboard backlight settings.

And lastly while I absolutely LOVE this notebook better than my Inspiron 9300 I absolutely HATE the speaker quality, they sound very "tinny" and distort very easy I was wondering if you all are experiencing the same results?

    Regards
