Hey guys, would really appreciate some help with this issue, dont know if anyone else has experienced it or if its a fault with my laptop (which is now just under a year old)

The laptop seems to seize up suddenly (sudden massive CPU spikes while running audio software or streaming movies). The fan is usually going crazy at this point and the laptop overheats and switches off.

Surely with 6GB ram and i7, it shouldnt break a sweat streaming a low res video?!

I tried cleaning the fan, followed by a clean install. All the drivers & windows updates have been re-installed correctly. Don't see how it could be a driver issue though, as the computer ran fine before.

Really appreciate advice! Thanks a lot!
