    Hi.
As far as I know, there 3 class vaio display class.

    1. vaio display (normal)
    2. vaio display plus
    3. vaio display premium

And I know vaio F21 3D uses 3. premium display.

but how about F22 2D edition released just before?

Is that also use premium display? or just 2. display plus?

So, is F22's display quality is same with F21's? (of course exclude 3d feature)

    Thanks.

Well, actually, the 3D F21 version of this series is the only one currently out now. The F22 is supposed to start shipping out to preorders next week, so there's not really any hands-on information regarding the 2D screen yet.

F22 uses Vaio Display Premium ONLY. And it is the same type (IPS or VA) as F 3D screen with super wide viewing angles.

Yes that's why I wrote this thread here.

And yes there is big difference I think.

I don't see myself the premium display, but everyone says it's very good.

It seems that no-one actually bought this laptop yet... I'm still waiting to find out - though I tend to buy 2D model anyway - big price difference, I will never use 3D anyway... And I doubt that screen is going to be very bad too... But want to hear from someone who actually tried 2D F series anyway.

Perhaps you guys should read this hands on by ubergizmo.

Quoting a few lines from them
" The 1080p screen is very good, and when I first looked at the laptop, I thought that it was an IPS display because the viewing angle was great. It turns out that it is not IPS, but a LED backlit display."

Do you have any shops near you that will possibly carry this model? I think it would just be best to see for yourself; one hands-on isn't necessarily going to be the final word, after all.

If I take a trip to the Sony store here soon I'll keep an eye out for the F22 and let you know what I think.

Hi. FInally I bought this model and received just before. I actually haven't seen the vaio premium screen, so I don't know this is premium screen. Of course I can know this is looking-better than CB15 which is I used just before this F2290X model.

So I uploaded some photo, will you guys let me know this is premium screen? or just plus?

    Maybe he wrong?

Someone says 2d's display looks different with 3d model's quality.

So this means 2d model's screen is [vaio display plus].

    Sad..

But this is good than other vaio's [plus] class even if same class..
