Hello, I recently bought a 13.3 vpcsa with an i7, 6630m, 4gigs, 1600x900 screen, no sheet battery. Thus far ive changed out the hdd with an ssd from my desktop (64gigs), reinstalled windows 7, and redownloaded all the software. Everything is working fine, though I have a few questions.

    1. Any modded bios out there with unlocked options such as voltage?

    2. Just how much battery gets used by the quick web splashtop browser compared to normal? I know it reads as ##.##.## when its launched, is it supposed to be read as days.hours.minutes? In which case a battery life of 1 day+ on it? Thats crazy and not believable.

    3. Any other mods I should do/know about? Any useful utilities?

    4. How far has the 6630m in this been overclocked without heat issues?

    Danke

see here for a discussion on the modded BIOS. then go to this page, clicn on "100% Confirmed working", go to the third page, and download "100%_Vaio_VPCSA_R1031H4_AdvMenuUlk_ByCamiloml.exe". i have not used this myself, so i don't know what options are available, so use at your own risk...

i have OC'd my 6630m to [725MHz core / 950MHz memory / 0.905V voltage] with Sapphire TRiXX, and the temperatures are stable at 79C-80C when playing FIFA 12. the 3DMark06 score is 9353.
