    Hi all,

I have just destroyed the DVD drive to this laptop :( I had replaced it with a hard drive bay, and I have now damaged (crushed) the original drive beyond repair. I really need to replace this lost drive, and an external one won't do - does anyone know how to get an OEM copy of the original, with the silver bezel attached? The model of the laptop is VPCSA3AFX, though possibly VPCSA3AFXSI. I tried looking at Sony's serviceplus but I don't understand it. Could anyone help me?

You can reuse faceplate of your old drive if it is not broken yet.
To find a replacement, just search for any SATA 9.5mm drive tray load on ebay.
