Hi, I have a Sony Vaio VPCZ1 with embedded sim card device behind the battery. The problem is that despite the fact that I have installed the WWAN drivers I can't find the device under the network adapters [IMG]

When i start Gobi one click internet I get the message no device found :(

    Can anyone help me?

Just because you have the SIM card slot doesn't mean you have the Gobi device. Sony just put it there as a standard for all Z's, but not all of them can use it. What is the exact model of your Z?

What country is this model from? It doesn't look like it has 3G listed in the specs but I can't say for sure..

Make sure you have VAIO shared utils and smart network installed, enable your WWAN in smart network and it should work.

And make sure the battery is installed!

Sony WWANs do not function without battery!
