OK, I just discovered this weirdness on my VPCZ1, and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered the issue. If I'm in Speed mode and plug in the laptop, both my ethernet and wireless speeds are throttled. With my ADSL, I get a SpeedTest of close to 8Mbps down when it's unplugged (ethernet or wireless) and only max about 2Mbps when I plug the laptop in. If I switch to Stamina, plugging or unplugging the laptop makes no difference. For the record, I've been running a hacked BIOS and Andrew08's drivers (for a couple of years now, at least). I'd love to be able to HDMI out and have full network speed, but now I have to do it on battery. TIA.
