Its just like the title says. My adaptor for my battery of the VPCZ1 gets very hot. Also when I listen to it, it makes a watery sound. Does anyone else experience the same problem?

I do not. Is this standard or extended battery? What do you mean by "watery sound?" Gurgle, bubbling sound?

I'd stop using it immediately and replace it.

Wait, you're referring to the power adapter and not the battery itself, right?

Be sure it never goes anywhere near your family jewels...

I would stop using it and have it sent to be checked or replaced.

Yeah but now it's making a zooming sound and gets pretty hot. I've called Sony and they've sent me a new one. We'll see if it will cause the same problem.

Sounds like it may have a bad capacitor, which is venting steam. That steam can be (depending on whether the powersupply has a RoHS seal or not) rather dangerous to inhale. Plus, as it dries out, it may cause other caps to pop (sometimes literally, as in a minor explosion with a tiny mushroom cloud).
I'd stop using it immediately, if I were you.
