What is the Vaio Personalization Manager? For the second time this week, I've noticed my fan was working pretty hard and upon opening my task manager, I see that the Vaio Personalization Manager is using a lot of processing power... So, I hesitantly end the process, and the fan quiets down and i go back down to 5% cpu usage. Does it do anything really important? Can i remove it?

btw, both times i was in stamina mode fyi.

I have W7 Clean installed without Vaio Personalization Manager and my notebook working fine. VAIO Personalization Manager provides a recommedation feature to Media Gallery, Giga Pocket Digital and for VAIO Location Search. I think it important if you have factory OS with all preinstalled programs.

There's quite a bit of stuff you should be able to remove from the bloatware Sony installed without losing any functionality.

    The actual programs I don't remember :p

Try to remove. If you will have any issues after, just install it again.
