    Hi!

When I adjust the refresh rate on my Z to 60 Hz and restart it, it plunges back to 40. Is there a way to have it fixed to 60 no matter what???
    thanks
    AO

Sounds like you've set it to operate at 40hz in the power profile (this is not standard).

Just click the battery icon (on the right in tray) then press more power options. Click change plan settings next to your current plan and click change advanced power settings when you're there.

Last but not least, click the VAIO Power Management tab, and change the refresh rate there ^_^.
