    Hello,

I found a solution thanks to several post of this forum, so here is the solution for interested people to rotate an external screen with a vaio vpcz 21 v9e (and certainly other models).

First you have no classic possibilities because :
    - windows control panel does not have screen orientation option
    - the ATI - AMD catalyst control panel provided by Sony with display drivers does not have too
    - update the AMD drivers directly from AMD (not sony) > it has the option and it works only once > restart the computer and the docking station external display is disabled automatically > reinstall the old catalyst drivers from sony... :(

    Solution :
    - run regedit.exe (win+R > "regedit.exe")
    - find (ctrl+F) ALL the keys (F3 key for next) with "DisableRotation" and replace the value "1" with "0"
    - find (ctrl+F) DisableAsyncFlips and replace the value "1" with "0" (I am not sure this one is useful)

    hope it can helps
