    GAH, FZ not suitable. VGN-FZ***. Admin please change title? Man, can't edit title or delete, nice..

    Hey all,
    In WoW I always bind my LeftActionBar keys to SHIFT1-0. First day I got my laptop and tried to run and use SHIFT-1...nothing...strafe and SHIFT-3...nothing. When to Battlefield 2142, I tried key binds to WASD and a SHIFT combination; doesn't work.

    I was so perplexed about this I went to the Best Buy down the street, boom none of the FZ's do it! Even when booted to a DOS prompt. It's just a badly designed keyboard.

    I mentioned Photshop because I use W + SHIFT1-5 to increase screen resolution which does not work. Luckily CTRL-ALT-? key combos work so far.

    Try a hotkey utility? Autohotkey was mentioned somewhere in this forum.

    Thank you for the input, I did consider it. But in the end, why would I accept buying a $2000 laptop that has a basically faulty keyboard and then make up for it with third party sofware?

    I'm not aware of any keyboard in existance that has this problem. Also, alot of new games may find such macro'ing, automating, as "botting" and will not allow it. WoW you get suspended and they actively intefere with Nostromo SpeePads and Logitech G15's. BF2142 will get you punkbusted.
