I just saw a deal online for a A130, but with the 15" XST NON-XBRITE LCD, for a $899 special. This seems soooooooooo damn cheap for the config that I have to consider it.

I have seen the K and A series in person and the screens are great. However, all the screens have been the XBRITE technology: How bad would this non XBRITE screen be?

(I have been looking at Sony Vaio K25, Dell 8600, and IBM R51...all around $1500... if anyone has comments or recs I am dying to hear them)

I've got an xbrite screen so can't really comment but I'd guess a non-brite screen would just look like a regular laptop screen.

If you don't get an answer then it might be worth taking a look at some of Sony's non-xbrite models and see how good those are.
