Keep in mind the AW had 4gb of ram vs 3gb in the HP, I'm sure that makes a nice difference in a 64-bit OS.

Great find! I'm considering getting an AW and now this makes my case stronger. Toshiba and Acer have 5400rpm drives, you can't really compare those can you? Also if you bump up the AW to 2.8, could it probably move up a notch in the iTunes encoding section?

thanks for the props, what i am saying as well since cnet tested it OBVIOUSLY there review is coming when it does i'll let you all know, anyway yes about the itunes and the 2.8ghz CPU also for the acer and toshiba HD really doesnt mean anything you can get a 200gb 7200rpm drive for $100 and with research you can also get a 250gb drive for the same price.

That article is soo wrong. How could a maxed out Acer Aspire 8920 with a 9650GS do the worse in a comp with three other lappies with 9600GTs? Also, It had a t9300, and also did worse then laptops with a p7350??

    cNet is biased IMO
