    Vaio Battery Problem

    Has anyone else had problems with their Vaio battery (VGP-BPS2C) no longer being recognized as connected to their SZ laptop? A new battery fixes the problem however, I have burned through two in about 15 months of ownership. Both of the batteries seemed healthy and would hold a good (~3hr) charge imediately prior to this battery recognition problem.

    Thanks for the responses. I am trying to figure out what to do as Sony claims batteries are not covered by their 1 year warranty.

    1. likely one, in 15 months, since eveybody knows Sony makes below standard batteries, they might have burned out. Like, Li ion doesn't hold charge anymore.
