I'm debating between getting either the FZ290 or the CR290 laptop. I'm wondering if the keyboard on the FZ has its keys spread out a bit like the CR-series have. I like the CR's keyboard a lot. Its very comfortable to type on. However, looking at some of the pictures of the keyboard on the FZ models, they look a little spaced out.

I have only had the chance to try out the CR keyboard so far, and am hoping I could take some time to go to the sony-style store to test out the FZ model a bit. FZ owners, can you comment on how you like your keyboard? Thanks.

I have FZ190, the keyboard layout is pretty good for typing, but the touchpad buttons are somewhat softer to press. CR series keyboard looks more like a Mac, keys are more spaced out than FZ model and touchpad buttons are better on CR. Since I wanted 15" screen, so I went with FZ.

I'm writing this on the CR right now and I love the keyboard. I find it one of the best laptop keyboards I've ever used.

It's very much like a mac keyboard, but Sony created this style of keyboard long before apple used it.
