Is there any possibility that Sony will release the Vaio CR series with a dedicated graphics card in North America?
Thanks,

I've been wondering the same thing, however Sony Europe and Sony America are independent, for the most part.
Everything about the CR (IMHO) is perfect, except the graphics card. That said, the X3100 looks promising (don't expect it to replace high-end dedicated cards), and new drivers will continue to increase its performance.
If I had to guess, I'd say that the already low-end battery life of the CR wouldn't support dedicated graphics, and Sony America doesn't really want to invest money in better batteries for their customers. Just a thought.
Also, what is it you plan to do with your laptop? If you plan to play games, what games specifically? You might not need dedicated graphics.

To me, everything about the CR is great also (other than the gpu). I just need a notebook for college and some light gaming. I'll probably want a dedicated graphics card for playing starcraft 2 whenever it comes out haha.
Vaio CR dedicated graphics?
