    Vaio CW hangs black screen blinking cursor

    Hi

    My little brother his vaio wont boot into windows,it just stops after the VAIO screen.
    Screen stays black with a blinking cursor above left.

    Has anyone a idea?Tried to set boot on the drive or dvd but no succes.

    *edit, harddrive is dead . (Seagate 320gb)
