After much decided on what laptop to get, I bought a CW on Wednesday. I couldn't be done with all the Norton and McAffe crap, so reinstalled Windows 7 using one of the brilliant guides on here. All the drivers have gone back on perfectly (the GT 330M drivers, HDMI, FN keys and everything), all apart from the bluetooth drivers. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, and even tried enabling bluetooth through SmartWi (didn't want to install it, but decided I had to to try - to no avail), but no luck. Saying that though, USB bluetooth adapters work flawlessly. Anyone got any idea how I can get the built-in bluetooth to work?

    Thanks in advance.

Did you make recovery disks? If you did try downloading Vaio Care and reinstall the bluetooth driver through the recovery disks. That worked for me.

Thanks, but those were the first things I tried (I used that guide to reinstall Windows).

And I didn't do a recovery disc as I thought using the drivers in the guide here, and leaving the 10gb recovery partition, would be enough. Vaio care doesn't ring a bell, so I think I'll look into that, cheers.

What does your device manager show for your Bluetooth hardware? Or does it even recognize it?

It shows the Atheros adapter for the WiFi, but nothing for any bluetooth devices. I also run Ubuntu Linux, and while that has many problems with the CW, one thing that does work flawlessly is the bluetooth.

Fixed it. The Broadcom bluetooth driver from C:\Windows\Drivers did the trick. It's worth adding that to your guide, as it's probably like this for every CW2S1E. If you like, I could upload the required drivers.
