Hi all,
My Vaio's charger has been making some noise lately. It's hard to describe, but it's kind of a scratchy, electrical sound. It only makes this noise when it's plugged in, and it gets a bit louder if it's been plugged in for a while (seemingly relative to how hot the charger is). The charger does get warm while in use, but not SO hot that you can't touch it, so i don't think it's overheating?
Thing is, it's charging just fine, and the light is green. It's working perfectly but this irritating noise makes me think that a problem is arising... I use this laptop everyday, but I've had it for barely half a year... Do I have to replace the charger already? is it bad to keep it plugged in at all times?
(Model: VPCF13AFX)
Any input is welcome, thanks!

It's a non issue. I posted the same question a while back:

Out of curiosity, what part number is on your power brick? It should be VGN-AC19V## ## meaning two digits that pertain to your particular charger. -
Ohh , thank you. I searched around but didn't find that thread. My power brick gets pretty hot sometimes, I thought it might be on its way to overheating after all. But I'm glad to know it's a non-issue!
Mine says VGP-AC19V45 , is that the number? -
Yeah that's the # I was looking for. Just curious if it's the same as mine or not- turns out it's not.
Don't worry too much about the heat, all of my computer bricks get warm after a while of use.
