I always noticed that the charging port on the computer was very loose every time i would plug it in to be charged since i bought the laptop and opened it up.

But now, the charger won't even stay into the computer unless i wrap the cord around the monitor for it to be charged and it can take up to 5 minutes until i can finally find the right spot for the charger to go in. Do you guys think that it is the actual charging port inside the laptop or is it just the charger thats broken?

    I have a Sony Vaio F series VPCF1390x

This sounds like a problem with the port, but you could try another charger to see if it fixes the problem.

You can try finding a friend with a Sony 19V adapter (I think your F is a 19V, most Sonys are interchangeable with one another). Or you can buy one online for like $20. Just search 19V genuine Sony adapters.

I was going to recommend you getting a dock and charging through that, but I guess the F Series doesn't have a dock connector on the bottom?
