    Hey guys,

I've got a F series and need a bag for it, want something nice and slim that is just big enough to take the laptop and the power brick. I went into the Sony Style store to pick up the official bag but the staff in there said it's rubbish and the laptop doesn't fit in it properly (they were honest!), so I need to find something else.

What brand/model bags fit this laptop well?

    Cheers

I went through exactly the same experience as you! The F isn't really supported bag wise which although seems unbelievable is sadly true.

I bought a dual branded mandarin duck vaio vgpe bmdco2. Which is not only very smart, holds the pc internally with velcro straps. There are separate compartments for your adaptor etc - without it being bulky. Comes with a handle and a cool strap that clips into holders each side and also has a shoulder pad.

I picked mine up on eBay considerably cheaper than Sony.

To me this is the bag that should be the official f bag. It's a great bag.

Sorry, I mistyped it - Sony VAIO Mandarina Duck VGPE-MBMDC02
Even so, it appears to be a model that's just been discontinued as it was fairly available when I purchased it. Amazon for example no longer have it and its not on the Mandarinna duck website anymore either.

I bought mine through ebay from Germany for 100gbp -this link is the cheapest I can find now for 140GBP - but Ive seen it with an official price of200GBP. Guess I got lucky.

Sony VAIO Mandarina Duck VGPE-MBMDC02 Notebook-Tasche 1 on eBay (end time 31-Aug-10 09:35:35 BST)

Dont be put off by the ad for 18" on this - if you check the measurements its smaller than the Sony recc F case and the fit with the straps is very snug. The build quality and style is awesome.
