I have an F1 and since we bought it its been stalling during downloads and while trying to watch youtube and netflicks. Any idea why? What setting need to be changed? Other computers on our wireless network work fine. Thanks

What troubleshooting steps have you performed?

What browser are you using? Does it happen in all of the following - Firefox, Chrome, IE, Opera?

What video driver are you running? Have you upgraded to the latest driver at Nvidia.com? If not, try that. If you are already running that, try downgrading.

Are there process(es) that are spiking in CPU use when this happens?

Does it happen if you boot in safe mode with networking?

Does it happen if you use a wired connection to your router and shut down the wireless card?

Are you running all the factory installed software or a clean install?

Have you tried removing/killing/stopping unnecessary programs and services?

Does it happen with Aero/DWM disabled?

Have you run updated virus and malware scans?

Have you run Vaio Care System Care, diagnostics, troubleshooting?

Have you installed all Sony and Windows updates?

Also, what specific model and hardware config do you have and what country are you in?
