    Hello,
I have a Sony VAIO FE 31Z and I have just bought a mp3 flash player. While copiing some songs to the mp3 player I realised how slow the transfer is. It as around 500 Kb/s !!!!!

I'm on Windows Vista installed from the upgrade CDs and in the hardware settings of Vista, everything seems to be ok.

    Any ideas ?

Do you thing this problem could be related with the problem I have here :

    Thanks for your help.

If you are treating the mp3 player as a removable drive, then go into Device Manager and set the policy for that removable drive to Optimise for Speed (or whatever it is called).
