Is anybody else having problems with this on their FE? Because again the camera will not show up in my computer. And after i reload the driver norton says an attempt to attack your computer was blocked. And since i started trying to use the camera the battery has been charging constantly.. A few times i got caution messages that the battery was either connected wrong or not the correct battery for this computer and should be replaced... and when i pressed "ok" the only button offered it would hibernate while i was to disconnect and reconnect the battery..... this happened over and over again about 6 times and it finally stopped... I think i may have a heart attack by the end of the day....

Is it possible that the camera is disabled? I have a camera on my laptop - one time I couldn't get it to work no matter what I did. Then I found out it wasn't enabled - did so, worked right away. So, check your owner's manual and see if a certain combination of Fn + Fx keys will enable it, etc. . .

maybe you should format everything and reinstall windows and install everything clean? those restore thingies aren't 100% clean.
