I'll (hopefully) be buying a Sony Vaio FE series laptop in October before I start law school (hopefully they'll have a Merom in it by then) and I want to go ahead and get the ram for it now, since I have someone flying over the to US and he can bring it back with him.
I've read something about the Vaio not accepting 667mhz ram or at least not using it fully.
Are they likely to fix that by then ? I was planning on buying this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145012
Will that work? or should I wait before I purchase the ram ?
    Thanks
