    Hi all,

I may be an IT pro but I've got some problem I can't really test. I have the impression the battery of my Vaio FE41 is dead. The laptop wont boot anymore without charger, and of course Windows doesn't find the battery anymore. No need to try battery testing tools because these show "no battery (found)"

I guess my battery is dead and the only option is replacing it? Just to make sure. I found a 7900mAh replacement battery on ebay, made in China... looow price

    Thanks in advance

The only thing I can think of is using a voltmeter to test the contacts on the laptop that normally come into contact with the battery
