Can someone tell me why Sony is introducing it's new FS, a great laptop design with the Sonomo chip, but with a max RAM expansion up to 1 Gigabyte? I love Vaio's, but sometimes Sony is mind-boggling with the way they design their laptops. The A series is another example, it is now upgradeable to 2 gb with a slightly faster M chip, but for a long time it was also just up to 1 gigabyte RAM expansion, go figure?

Well, other things to ask: why only the 333Mhz RAM?

And about the limit, it may not actually be a limit at all -- the S-series was spec'd at 1gb Max, but many users have reported using 2 1gb sticks just fine!

Sony has always had strange decisions in terms of hardware!
