    Vaio FW - Integrated graphics or ATI?

    Hello,

    I was wondering if I should purchase my FW with integrated graphics or the ATI graphics card. The two options are:

    1)Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD with Intel® Clear Video Technology
    2)ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3470 with 256MB vRAM

    If I don't plan on doing any extreme gaming, will the ATI card provide a significant performance boost, or any at all? Will the ATI card make other tasks perform faster?

    If you game, at all, even a little bit, then go for the 3470.

    The 4500 is shaping up to be a fairly decent IGP. If you don't plan on playing crysis or any other demanding games, especially in DX10, then it may be the way to go.

    Battery life with IGP will be significantly longer than with HD3470.
