    Hi all,

I've upgraded my FW11 to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit RTM, using the Vista 64bit Sony 64 bit drivers for Sony Firmware Extension Parser, Sony Shared Library, Sony Notebook Utilities, and ATI 9.9 drivers.

Everything works great, and I'm having absolutely no problems except for the OSD for brightness and volume, which always work fine and comes up on screen after a reboot, but then at some point it stops showing up. The brightness FN keys and volume work fine, but the OSD doesnt come up.

I do normally put the laptop into hibernation instead of shutting down, so I'm pretty sure it's resuming from hibernation and then something is stopping the OSD. It's bugging me.

It's not a major problem (at least the functions work), but I like having the OSD.

Out of interest, is anyone else having this problem?

I'm thinking of waiting until the official Windows 7 drivers for the FW11 are released, and then doing a full reinstall of Win 7, but that's a thought that's filling me with dread, as my system is working great other than for this niggle.

I have similar issues with the brightness/volume; for example if I close the lid and open it again it will stop working, or if I log in using a remote desktop they will die also.
And for the FE I can't update to anything past Vaio Event Service 3.0.

But for the FW, I think the 5.0 version of vaio event service found in here

    might help.
Hopefully Sony releases these drivers officially soon...
