    Hello,

I purchased a Vaio FW140E a week ago, and would appreciate it if someone could provide me with suggestions on the following questions:

    1) Since I bought the laptop, I've only installed McAfee Total Protection ( downloaded from the web). Will there be any issues if I were to create a Recovery disc now ( - I was informed that a recovery disc needs to be created before installing any application) ? If I can, how many DVD/CD do I need?

    2) I did not find any Windows Vista Cd, or any other CD with the laptop package. Is that how the laptop is delivered?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's a problem to do the recovery discs now. You will need 2 DVD-Rs or 1 double layer DVD. All FWs are shipped without Vista CDs or any other CDs, so you're fine.
